What Seachem Pristine is used for

Use according to the current label for initial or maintenance biological support.

Dosage and water volume

Base reference: 5 ml per 40 litres. Use the aquarium's estimated actual water volume rather than its empty maximum capacity.

  • Initial: 5 ml per 40 litres — Use for the initial dose according to the current label.
  • Maintenance: 5 ml per 80 litres — Maintenance use includes addition of livestock, disruption of biological filtration through cleaning, and after medications where applicable.

How to use

  • Shake well before use.
  • Turn off UV sterilizers and ozone.
  • If antibiotics were used, remove them with fresh carbon and a water change before adding Pristine.
