How to use

  • Fill a clean test tube with 5 mL aquarium water.
  • Add 3 drops of pH Test Solution, holding the bottle vertically.
  • Cap the tube.
  • Invert several times to mix.
  • Compare the colour against the pH colour card in good lighting.
  • View the sample against the white area of the card.
  • Rinse the tube after use.

  • pH requirements vary by fish species. Avoid treating one universal pH number as correct for every aquarium.
  • A sudden pH change may be more concerning than a stable pH that is slightly outside an ideal textbook range.
