Dosage and water volume
Base reference: 5 ml per 38 litres. Use the aquarium's estimated actual water volume rather than its empty maximum capacity.
- Diseased or wounded fish: 5 ml per 38 litres — Dose once daily for 7 days.
- Newly added fish: 5 ml per 38 litres — Dose once daily for 3 days.

How to Calculate Aquarium Volume
Measure the aquarium's inside length, width or depth, and water height. Enter all three measurements in the same unit.

For centimetres, multiply length × width × height, then divide by 1,000 to estimate litres. The calculator converts inches and feet automatically.
Why Actual Water Volume May Be Lower
Substrate, rocks, equipment and space above the water line reduce the water actually held by the tank. Use the setup allowance that best represents your aquarium.
